Cue Slam is a unique cue-sports league initiated by SportzLive and Billiards & Snooker Federation of India (BSFI). It is a first-of-its-kind franchise-based Indian league featuring top names and the most promising talent from the world of cue sports. The competing franchises will be based in different cities of India, with each team featuring a combination of international, Indian and junior (male/female) players will compete against each other during the competition to win the Cue Slam title. Pullela Gopichand Badminton Academy, Greater Noida

SportzLive has partnered with the Gopichand Badminton Academy with an initiative to develop a Gopichand Academy in Shaheed Vijay Singh Pathik Sports Complex in Greater Noida. The aim of the academy is to identify and nurture talent in this part of the country. The academy will appoint highly qualified Indian and international coaches and the trainees will have access to facilities like the gym, swimming pool and athletics track in the sports complex. PBL a step towards the evolution of badminton

For a sport that originated in India in the 1800s, it is only fitting that the tournament with the biggest prize money in the world is being played here. Invented by the British, badminton has been mainly looked upon as a part-time sport over the years and was considered as good ‘exercise’.
